I love self-help books and I adore them, even more, when they are laced with a topic I am passionate about – Psychology. Throughout Mind Files, the topic of Psychology is explored as well as used to better improve our lives, and I admit book lovers that I am obsessed with this! When I read that Mind Files has this unique combination of themes that are rarely explored in so much detail in a self-help book I was thrilled and excited to read Mind Files and share it with you lovely readers.

Mind Files is in part a scientific book thanks to the exploration of Psychology and the mind but it is mostly a moving and transformative self-help guide that is laced with inspiration, heart and a wealth of knowledge that will give you the tools to improve your life. The reader throughout Mind Files will be taken on a moving and informative journey, and the result is an empowering book that can help you in so many ways. So if you are a reader who is looking to improve your life and feel happy, confident, organized then Mind Files is for you! However, if you need more convincing then continue to read to learn more about this beautiful book.

Mind Files is a book which is hard to define thanks to the numerous themes and topics that are explored throughout it however it is primarily a self-help guide with a strong focus on using our perspectives to change our lives. In Mind Files, the incredible author Penny Hodgson begins to explain that ‘our perceptions become our perspectives’  and when this happens are perspectives become ‘rigid’ and that in turn creates problems in our everyday lives. This is a big problem but in Mind Files, this issue can be resolved with the help of Hodgson and her phenomenal knowledge and wisdom. Hodgson throughout the course of the book will make you delve into your past and make you evaluate it and the purpose of this is to help us better understand our emotions and why we feel the way we do and how we act in our everyday life. A simple way to describe this is that in Mind Files you will ‘delve into the filing cabinets of your mind’ and once this happens you will become enlightened, feel closer to God (or the religion you practice) and understand forgiveness. All of this and so much more is explored in Mind Files and the result is truly stunning and unforgettable.

Mind Files is sensational and unlike anything I have read before. Hodgson throughout her book will share a host of information about certain topics explored and the result is enlightening as well as inspiring. As I read Mind Files, I found myself being amazed by Hodgson’s book and think she is an incredible woman for deciding to investigate the topics and share it with her readers so they can live happier more fulfilling lives.

Not only is Penny Hodgson a fantastic person for writing this book but she is also incredible for her phenomenal literature and how breath-taking it is. The literature courtesy of Hodgson is flawless and will flow beautifully throughout from beginning to end.

Overall Mind Files is an informative and poignant self-guide that can change your life and so I have no choice but to award this stellar read five stars as it is indeed one of the best self-help guides I have ever had the pleasure of reading!
