You can’t dig a hole to China!

Squirt doesn’t believe Bubba can dig a hole to China. But when the hole swallows them, the kids find themselves in Xi’an, China, surrounded by Terracotta Warriors.

It gets worse when the ghost of the first emperor of China appears. He tells them they can’t go home until they find his missing pi. The kids don’t know where to begin until they meet a girl and her grandmother who promise to help find the pendant.

Soon they realize they are being followed. And they are no closer to finding the missing pi. Will Bubba and Squirt ever make it back home?

Bubba and Squirt’s Big Dig to China is a children’s book that will take young readers on an action-packed adventure which will entertain and delight them from start to finish. Bubba and Squirt’s Big Dig to China is one of the most well-developed children’s stories I have ever come across, and so I am so happy I have discovered this book because books with such a high quality such as this one are rare to come by! It is the sad truth that many children books are not written to a high standard, and I understand why some authors may write their children’s book this way because after all, children mostly want a fast-paced story and to look at colorful pictures, however, this is not always the best option. The child will most likely enjoy the story however they won’t remember it. Personally, as a mother, I look for children books which my children will remember and want to re-read, and Bubba and Squirt’s Big Dig to China is that book.

Bubba and Squirt’s Big Dig to China is an adorable children’s book that will introduce the reader to the two young protagonists of the novel, Squirt, and Bubba. Bubba is on a mission to dig a hole to China, however, Squirt does not believe this can happen, so you can imagine his shock and surprise when the two children find themselves swallowed by the hole and land in Xi’an, China! Once the pairing arrives, they will find themselves immersed with Terracotta Warriors as well as meeting the ghost of the first emperor of China. The ghost has a mission for the duo, and it is to find his missing pi; otherwise, they will not be able to return home. What follows is a unique, stellar and action-packed novel in which the duo will have to find the missing pi as well as return home before it is too late and this book lovers is the premise of the sensational Bubba and Squirt’s Big Dig to China.

Bubba and Squirt’s Big Dig to China is an expertly written children’s book with a story that is well developed and memorable and a story that I guarantee children with love thanks to its fast-paced but engaging narrative and the sensational story that unfolds. If you are a parent or know children in your family or friendship groups and want the child to read an engaging story which they won’t be able to stop thinking about, Bubba and Squirt’s Big Dig to China is that book! The book is a delight, and Sherry Ellis perfectly excites and charms her young readers from start to finish, and that is why I have to recommend this book to all children.

The story of Bubba and Squirt’s Big Dig to China is a thrilling one thanks to the enthralling and action-packed moments as well as the unpredictable nature of the book that will have the readers turning the pages with haste from beginning to end. I love children books that involve a journey because usually in the journey the character develops and grows as they overcome events and battles which in turn adds to the development of the character and explores life lessons throughout the book and that is most certainly the case with Bubba and Squirt’s Big Dig to China.

Sherry Ellis is an incredibly talented author who clearly knows how to write unique but engaging stories. It was evident to me from the start that Ellis is a passionate writer who surely loves entertaining children with her literature and putting a smile on children’s faces. I loved this about the author but what I loved the most about Ellis’s writing is her remarkable descriptions because they genuinely amazed me.

Overall Bubba and Squirt’s Big Dig to China is an excellent book that will captivate readers from beginning to end with its twisty-turny plot and exciting narrative so I, of course, have to award the book five stars! Be sure to keep an eye out for my spotlight for the author which will be live soon!
