RED HEADED BOOK LOVER

Blue in the Tooth, Esther Loftus Gough

Children & Picture Book, Crafts & Games, Middle Grade Fiction

This colorful educational book is useful as a reminder to Young and old to keep teeth clean and healthy to prevent tooth decay.

Blue in the Tooth is a brilliant educational book for children that stresses the importance of brushing your teeth regularly while being an entertaining and enjoyable story at the same time. Parents will understand that getting your children to brush their teeth can be exhausting! For some reason children do not like it, and I admit, it is a tedious task but it is also a necessary task that everybody needs to do. That is why I am obsessed with Blue in the Tooth, and already I have been recommending it to fellow parents I know because it will definitely make your children, and children you know aware of how important brushing your teeth is.

Blue in the Tooth is an incredible educational picture book that follows the young protagonist of the story called Johnnie. The reader follows Johnnie as well as his teeth and in particular one of them called Blue who is a canine tooth, who is between Pearl, a molar, and Onyx, an incisor tooth. The story is a charming read that will stress the importance of brushing as well as educate children on how important each tooth is. I have to admit I was incredibly impressed that the author Esther Loftus Gough also laced throughout the story the individual and core teeth and their names such as canine, molar and incisor teeth. It is incredibly educational but also entertaining, and that is the perfect combination for a children’s book!

The story of Blue in the Tooth is a genius creation from the excellent author Esther Loftus Gough. The story is well developed from beginning to end and is not full of too much information about teeth that would distract the child reading the book. Some children education books can be full of way too much information that can confuse and distract a child but Blue in the Tooth is the perfect combination between education and entertainment, and this is all thanks to the exceptional author Gough!

Esther Loftus Gough is a newly discovered author of mine but gosh do I wish I had discovered her work sooner because Blue in the Tooth is a life saver! I already know that Blue in the Tooth will help many parents getting their children to not only brush their teeth but enjoy doing so! The book is full of vivid, bright illustrations that will capture readers minds and alight their imagination.

To conclude Blue in the Tooth is a sensational, entertaining and adorable educational children’s book so of course, I have to award the book five stars! Blue in the Tooth is truly a brilliant children’s book that all children should read!

Blue in the tooth! -was written at a meaningful time in my life. I had a tumour in my sinus which was connected to my teeth so suffered aches and pains. I felt that my poor teeth were suffering unnecessary hardship and did wonder if I could have done more to alleviate my. painful teeth dilemma. The educational aspect with the teeth medical terms was a fun extra bonus.
Blue was born from this saga!
