In 1943, Hitler’s hope to rule the world stands on the fringe of reality, but the Arklight team’s encounter with a powerful force enables them a chance to alter destiny itself. The coveted mysteries of Christ are unveiled, and the team soon discovers the forces of darkness have a larger more ominous plan in play.

Arklight: Operation Nightfall is an incredible piece of military fiction that weaves themes of history, religion and science fiction and the result is a phenomenal story that I will struggle to forget for a long time. J.M. Myrick is the author Arklight and throughout his book, he takes his readers on a memorable journey that will transport the reader back in time to 1943; the year Hitler reigns. The story is an exceptional, multi-layered one that excited me from the very start; Arklight can only be defined as the type of novel that is impossible to put down and when reading this book, I felt exactly this as I did not want to put this book down thanks to the compelling nature of it and because of Myrick’s glorious literature. Already I implore you lovely readers to read this book but if you need more convincing them please do read more to learn more about the sensational Arklight!

Arklight: Operation Nightfall is a multi-layered story with many sub-plots. The story follows the Arklight’s Spear Team who are a notable unit in the U.S. military who are tasked with only the most difficult tasks from high up in the Government. The Arklight team soon have a new mission and this mission is to capture the world’s most wanted and dangerous terrorist but when they embark on this mission, they will soon find themselves thrust back in time to 1943. Once in 1943, Captain John Steadman and his team will uncover a terrifying Nazi conspiracy but this is not all that they discover as they also find a powerful artifact which is link to Chris himself. With these two discoveries, a thrilling, as well as a captivating plot, unravels and the result is a highly entertaining story that readers will not be able to forget for a long time.

The story of Arklight: Operation Nightfall was one that I was always destined to love thanks to its core military themes. The author J.M. Myrick is a Veteran who served in the Marines and the knowledge and experience he has from his time serving is all combined and laced throughout Arklight and so the result is an accurate portrayal of military tactics and weapons. The action scenes within this book are thrilling as they are accurate as well as enticing. When I read the action-packed moments I found myself shocked by the immense detail; the detail of these scenes ensured that I was able to perfectly imagine the scenario in my mind so that the scene played out in my mind like a movie.

J.M. Myrick is not only a genius for lacing his knowledge throughout his book which perfectly contributes to the story, but he is also a genius for weaving many different themes and flawlessly combining them. Within Arklight many themes are explored and so you have to be an exceptional author to be able to weave them together correctly. Themes such as history, religion, science fiction and the military are all explored throughout this book and I admit that on the surface it seems as if they would not work well together, however, they do book lovers in the most flawless of ways. I mentioned briefly that you have to have a real talent to be able to weave such themes and Myrick most certainly is talented as never once is the combination of themes too much to handle. Instead, he perfectly laces them throughout his book which adds extra layers of excellence to the story which in turn keeps the reader hooked and turning the pages.

Arklight: Operation Nightfall is primarily a military piece of fiction however it is also Christian fiction, but non-religious readers should not be afraid of this as it would not hinder your enjoyment of the story. At the beginning of each chapter, there is a scripture and this is a brilliant plot device from Myrick as they relate to the chapter which in turn will get the reader excited for what is to come. So please, even if you are not religious do still read this book as you will not regret it! As Arklight: Operation Nightfall is a stellar, engrossing and thrilling tale I have no choice but to award this remarkable tale five stars!

Aimee Ann, I am flattered by the rave review for Arklight: Operation Nightfall. The inception of this story came to me one day and it never left. The series is planned for five books, with Arklight: Force Interdiction releasing in the next few months. Nightfall is only the beginning of this epic saga, pitting good against evil, but also pivoting off the reality of our brokenness as humans.
