Could you please tell us readers about your book and what inspired you to write your book?

What inspired me… Great Question. I am not sure what inspired me to start writing a book. Still trying to figure that out myself. Simply because I was not in love with books due to my circumstances I was born and brought up. I am very positive person in a lot of ways. I do not like arguments. Most of the time I like peace. I like to keep quiet and walk away. I have seen many books on serial killers, psychotic behaviors etc. I want to give readers positive energy. When someone reads my book, I do not want any sort of negative effect in them. That could be the underline reason why I wrote a book. That should be the inspiration as well.

What would your advice be for aspiring writers?

I just started this platform. Am I ready to give any advise. I am not sure. But I think, everyone has something to say. Lot of us do not believe in themselves. Or I should say, lot of us will worry, whether this material will be read by people. I think, every writer will find his or her readers. Every one cannot be successful, but a fair share will be achieved. Put your hundred percent to your creativity. Don’t worry what other have to say… If you are happy with your work, I am sure there are many like you out there in this world who will like what you have put out there. I did the same. Yet to see whether I am going to be succesful or not. But I can say this much, I have done my hundred percent.

In your opinion, what is the most important thing about a book?

Do not influence negativity. I think book is a great tool to influence people. I heard people come out of depression by reading positive books. For me the most important thing about a book is to influence someone in a positive way. Give happiness and purpose. I want to create stories where there is full of life and experiences, so that the reader can relate to their own experiences. If I can help them in difficult times by creating a character and how the character overcome the difficulty, then I will think that I have done my part as a great citizen. Book should influence good only.

What is your writing process like?

I have not developed a writing process yet. I write whenever I have time. I work full time. So I do not get much time or dedicate some time for this. So whenever I get time in my schedule i try to pen some thing. Some days I do not write at all. I have not experienced a writer’s block yet. I am blessed to say, when I want to write, I can.

What kind of research do you do, and how long do you spend researching before beginning a book?

Current book Come- Travel With Me. I did not do much research. Frankly speaking. I do not think I will research for my future books either. I want to be unique. I do not want to get influenced by other writers. I want to develop books in my own ways and my own lay outs. I do create characaters in my mind and I do think their behaviour should be this way or that way. That is it. My next book is a novel. I do have a plan in my mind. I do have chapter names for that. But other than that, I do not do much research before I begin.

Do you have a set schedule for writing, or do you only write when you feel inspired?

I do not have set schedule. When I get inspired, I may be at work. I may be with my kids or running around with chores. What I do is I note that idea or thought in to my phone. I trust in my abilities and I always think positive. So when I get time, I look at those notes and develop what I want to write. I know this can be challenging, but this is what i have got and I will work with it. I do believe that thinking negatively can damage your creativity. So do it when you can is my motto.

Do you read much and if so who are your favorite authors?

You should know by now, I hated books. So I have not read much. The  holy books Ramayan and Mahabharat are the two I have read. I have to say the story telling and the characters in those two books are phenomenal. The most fascinating things about these two books are the side stories from each characters are there. It is massive and very energetic. I do not want to be influenced by other authors as well. My books are going to be different or it could be same as others.  It can change in the coming years. I might read more. I never expected to be writing a book. But I did…

Lastly, when can we readers expect to read more wonderful books from you?

6 to 8 months. Reason is simple. I work full time. I do not have set targets or schedules. But I can say this much. The book I will be publishing is about a lady who stood tall when the fate started to crumble her family… Very raw life. Inspiring at the same time, this story can empower a lot of women out there who are crushed by the society. I want to do quicker, but I am not sure, how quick I can do this…. Lets see. Focus positvieness. This world needs it. I am glad to be a part of this great world.
